In-house Contracts Solicitor, Fairsail
Overview:
Fantastic opportunity for an NQ - 2yr PQE experienced contracts solicitor to join an exciting Cloud SAAS start-up based in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity for a contracts solicitor to join a fast growing, fun and dynamic business that's going from strength to strength on a daily basis.
Reporting into the CFO, this role will assist in negotiating, drafting & reviewing Fairsail’s commercial agreements and documentation with all third parties. To work closely with, and provide advice to, key stakeholders and business colleagues on a wide range of legal matters.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drafting, advising on and negotiating commercial contracts across the business, including Customer contracts, Supplier contracts and Subcontractor contracts.
- Working in partnership with commercial/sales colleagues on bids/tenders to identify and mitigate contractual and operational risks, tailored to the customers’ requirements.
- Developing and maintaining a contracts database for contracts across the business.
- Working alongside external counsel to develop materials to educate employees and customers on global data protection matters.
- Developing systems to ensure contractual terms are codified and accessible by all relevant teams across the business, using scalable processes aligned to a rapidly growing business.
- Providing legal expertise across wider business activities, including shareholder and employment related matters.
