Wizz Air

Wizz Air: Who Are We?

Wizz Air is central and eastern Europe’s largest low-cost airline.  We currently operate 62 Airbus A320 aircraft and in our last financial year carried more than 16.5million passengers on over 100,000 flights.  We have 22 operating bases in 12 countries and fly more than 380 routes connecting 112 destinations across 38 countries.

We’ve achieved a lot in the 11 years since our first flight and 2015 has been a landmark year for us: as well as achieving record profitability in our financial year ended 31 March 2015, our shares were listed in London and we’re now a FTSE250 company.  And the landmark events continue in 2015: we launched our refreshed brand on our 11th birthday, our first, larger Airbus A321 will be delivered in November and we recently announced an agreement with Airbus to acquire up to 200 Airbus A321NEO aircraft for delivery from 2019 to 2024, to keep our fleet one of the youngest in Europe as well as continue our growth.

Our success is down to our people – currently over 2,200 aviation professionals drawn from over 40 countries. And now we’re looking to recruit an additional member to our Legal team. Are you the person we’re looking for?  You’ll be someone who thrives on variety and loves working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be confident in your abilities and experience and be able to put this to good use in prioritizing your work to meet, sometimes challenging, deadlines. And you must also enjoy working internationally, as the work can relate to any of the countries we’re based in or fly to.  If that sounds like you, then Wizz Air really can offer you a world of opportunity - you’ll be working for one of Europe’s most successful, fastest-growing airlines, often on high-profile issues and directly with senior management. We offer competitive pay as well as a generous staff travel scheme. And last – but certainly not least – you’ll have the opportunity to live in Budapest, one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, where’ll you’ll be based in our operational headquarters where English is the common language.
