The main tasks and duties of the role will be:
- Project based work and cold calling of agreed targets;
- Carry out some face to face meetings with decision makers;
- Updating CRM system and monitoring sales pipeline;
- Diarising of key BD activity;
- Working closely with Marketing and Sales; and
- Research into key targets and opportunities and presenting relevant data to key stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Ideally at least 3 years* experience in a BD role;
- A track record of achieving sales targets;
- Can demonstrate Account management and pipeline monitoring experience;
- Proposal / pitch experience desirable;
- Excellent communication skills that can be used effectively at all levels;
- A high level of commercial awareness;
- Present themselves in a professional manner;
- Be well organised and able to prioritise workloads;
- Be self motivated, innovative and creative; and
- Possess a full UK driving licence and own transport.
