An established and successful Family firm based in north Hampshire is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal. Our Client continues to build their business by ambitious growth plans and an exciting opening exists for the right candidate to further their Family career. It is essential you possess solid Family law experience to be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Solicitors in preparing documentation for clients and for court relating to all areas of Family law
- Attending court and advocacy on more straightforward Family law matters
- Answering phone calls in office
- Helping out with all aspects of office administration
- Help in the preparation of client bills
Successful Candidate will possess:
- It is essential you probably have around 3 years’ experience in order to undertake the work and responsibility entailed in this role
- An understanding and experience of Family law, in particular divorce and children matters
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft office software
- Experience of using ALB or similar client management software
- Experience in preparing client bills
- Experience of advocacy in children and injunction work
- A friendly, approachable, reliable, natural, resilient character
- Good arithmetic maths skills
- Energy and desire to grow the business.
Candidates with an LPC or having completed Bar School wishing to embark on a legal career will also be considered.
