Supporting the Group, our client has a dedicated in-house legal department. This centralised function provides legal advice and support to business stakeholders throughout the UK and worldwide. It provides an essential service to the business and its advice, guidance and support is highly valued by the Group and its key decision makers.
To ensure continued best practice with legal and regulatory obligations, internal policies and procedures, and to advise and assist on complex projects and transactions, our client seeks to recruit an In-house Real Estate Solicitor at its offices in Buckinghamshire.
Reporting into a senior property solicitor, you will provide a broad range of legal advice and transactional support to the real estate team and wider business. Specifically this will include, landlord and tenant matters, disposals and acquisitions, development, planning, construction and some environmental matters. You will provide legal advice, appoint and manage external counsel, and support on major projects and transactions. At all times you will aim to minimising commercial risk to the Group.
The position of In-house Real Estate Solicitor is open to qualified Solicitors with at least two years post-qualified commercial real estate experience. You should possess significant landlord and tenant experience and be capable of working autonomously on large and complex transactions of significant importance.
This is a highly collaborative role that would suit someone who wants to see things from the centre and be involved in a range of high-value and/or complex projects at divisional and Group level.
