Listed on the London Stock Exchange, diversity is one of our key strengths. We have market leading positions in the UK and internationally across our divisions. Our businesses encompass well-known consumer brands (including Primark, Twinings, Ovaltine, Kingsmill, Jordans and Ryvita) as well as businesses in the sugar, agricultural and ingredients sectors (including British Sugar, AB Agri, AB Mauri and ABF Ingredients).
We aim to achieve strong, sustainable leadership positions in markets that offer potential for profitable growth, and deliver quality products and services that are central to people’s lives.
We wish to hire a Competition Lawyer with at least 5 years’ PQE* to join our established and highly regarded global legal department within our Central London headquarters. Reporting into the Head of Legal – Global Competition and Compliance you will advise ABF’s operating companies including their senior management and respective finance and sales teams on a broad range of general competition law matters including advising on EU, member state and at other times global competition laws, delivering competition law compliance training, providing merger control analysis, advising on investigations, and advising and acting on competition law damages actions. You will need the ability to work at times with a degree of autonomy but also within larger teams and at all times with a close connection to the business.
