About Eversheds
Our people regularly deal with large scale matters including multiple jurisdictions for multi nationals through our award winning and ground breaking approach to project management.
We are lawyers who think strategically as well as legally, and provide our dispute managers with the resources they need to use their skills to the fullest.
We have a substantial financial services practice with extensive experience of advising insurance companies, intermediaries, corporate finance firms, private banks and the Office of Fair Trading on all areas including asset management, retail finance, white collar crime, wealth management and MiFID.
Key responsibilities:
We are looking to recruit a PSL to work with both the Financial Services Disputes & Investigations Team (within our Litigation Practice Group) and Financial Services Team (within our Company Commercial Practice Group)
The role involves the usual PSL activities such as preparing and delivering training, writing briefings, occasionally drafting precedents and answering questions. It will have a client facing aspect in helping to add value to clients by organising training or providing a sounding board. It is a flexible role and the post holder may be asked to assist on a wide variety of projects, including shaping the use of social media for business development initiatives to grow particular work streams.
Skills and experience:
You will currently be a qualified Solicitor with broad experience of both Practice Groups. You will be enthusiastic, have excellent drafting and organisational skills and the ability to design and deliver effective training courses.
Key competencies:
You will be efficient and responsive in handling requests and will work with a broad range of stakeholders from newly qualified solicitors to the Product and Practice Group Heads on a range of matters.
We're a modern, progressive law firm. We think differently and we've built a culture where individual skills and personalities can shine through. At Eversheds, we believe that innovation comes from a culture of genuine equality and diversity and we are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments individuals may require in the recruitment process, or once in post.
Eversheds endeavours to recruit and fill vacancies directly. However, when we do need to engage with agencies, Eversheds operates within a preferred supplier list.
