About Eversheds
Eversheds’ dedicated funds team has unrivalled experience of advising investment funds in the UK. It is widely recognised as one of the leading advisers in the sector, acting on behalf of more Undertakings For The Collective Investment Of Transferable Securities (UCITS) funds in the UK than any other law firm, with over 30% of this market. Our International Funds Net (IFN) service provides subscribers with a single solution to their fund registration needs.
The role involves being a co-ordinator for our fund registration service (both UCITS funds and alternative investment funds (AIFs)). This involves co-ordinating the fund registrations and ongoing requirements, speaking to clients, foreign lawyers, translators and other service providers on a regular basis and co-ordinating submissions, preparing standard letters and forms and checking and making amendments to funds documentation and dealing with ad hoc client queries.
It also involves operating and maintaining an extranet website for our IFN clients.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the head of the fund registration service and the head of financial services, you will work closely with fee earners and accounts.
Duties include:
· being the day-to-day contact for clients, foreign lawyers, translators and other service providers
· co-ordinating submissions by clients, foreign lawyers and translators
· making submissions with regulators where relevant
· checking and making amendments to fund documentation for accuracy
· preparing standard letters, forms, checklists to various parties
· maintaining IFN status reports and tools, as appropriate
· assisting with preparing estimates and invoicing
· conducting regular relationship meetings with key clients
· creating new sites on the IFN website as new clients sign up for the service, loading of documents onto the site, assisting fee earners and website managers with co-ordination and project management and general maintenance of the site.
Skills and experience:
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
· an interest in the job and a “can do” attitude
· excellent customer service skills
· an eye for detail, strong organisational skills and able to take responsibility for own workload
· confidence in dealing with telephone enquiries
· excellent written and spoken communication skills
· good IT skills
· must be a team player, willing to help out wherever needed.
Key competencies:
We’re a modern, progressive law firm. We think differently and we’ve built a culture where individual skills and personalities can shine through. At Eversheds, we believe that innovation comes from having an inclusive culture of genuine equality and diversity.
Eversheds endeavours to recruit and fill vacancies directly. However, when we do need to engage with agencies, Eversheds operates within a preferred supplier list.
