To provide secretarial/admin support to the Litigation & Dispute Management Department working on minimum ratio of 4:1 for a mixture of junior fee earners. To provide support to the existing secretarial team (9 secretaries in total) as and when required to meet business critical deadlines, developing your secretarial skillset to that of a legal secretary.
Key responsibilities:
Client liaison, diary management, arranging meetings and organising travel, billing and financial requests, efiling/file management, audio/copy typing of correspondence, managing your own workload, using the support departments available; undertaking administration whilst assisting/supporting other team members during busy periods.
Skills and experience:
The successful candidate should be someone who wants to be trained as a legal secretary. A minimum of 60 wpm typing speed for copy and audio, RSA II in typing (or equivalent), audio typing or word processing and MS Office skills are essential.

Good IT skills, accurate, fast turnaround, flexible, team player, ability to adapt to changes in workloads, quick to learn and adapt, Effective communication skills, commitment to deliver - persevere with difficult tasks, organised, methodical and a good learner. The trainee secretary should have a strong "can do" work ethic and must work well within a team.
