Unique opportunity for a corporate lawyer in the London offices of an international firm. This role will involve a range corporate work with elements of insurance and regulatory matters, as well as some litigation work. This is a rare opportunity for a truly broad and varied position, working with a high profile partner who has extensive experience in the Insurance sector and an interesting variety of clients. Good package and work life balance is on offer here.
This would suit an associate who has a mix of general corporate M&A experience and has had exposure to the insurance sector, and would like to build on this going forwards. This role would involve advising a variety of clients including investment banks, insurers, brokers and financial institutions on matters including commercial agreements and regulatory advice. There is also the opportunity to take on litigious matters as this team also deal with insurance and re-insurance disputes.
Ideally:
- You will have at least 2 years PQE from a leading City practice
- You will have experience in either transactional corporate, insurance or regulatory matters
- Exposure to some Insurance/Re-insurance disputes would be highly beneficial
- You will have excellent academics (minimum 2:1) and will have trained at a recognised city practice
- You will be keen to be involved in a variety of Corporate work with elements of Insurance and Regulatory matters.

This hire is due to expansion and the firm is keen to grow the team with the hire of a strong all-rounder who will relish the opportunity to take on a broader remit and be actively involved in business development activities.
