PQE REQUIRED: 5+ Years PQE

THE ROLE:
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a leading and highly successful West End firm. The right candidate will be able to develop their own practice and to build the existing practice from its already impressive client base. The commercial IP department already services clients in the telecoms/IT, creative and entertainment industries, television, modelling, sports, restaurants and bars, financial and technology sectors. You would be required to service these clients' needs and to develop new clients.
THE CANDIDATE:
This exciting opportunity would suit a talented and ambitious individual with a minimum of 5 years' PQE gained from another recognised law firm. You will be an excellent technical solicitor with broad range of commercial, IP, IT and data protection experience. The role involves the whole range of work in the commercial field, from outsourcing to data protection, software licensing to brand management to modelling contracts. You would need to be comfortable working on all of or any of these matters. You will have the ability to manage workloads and to train and supervise more junior staff. An existing (but not necessarily self-sufficient) client following is essential.
