Pro bono
Weil has a leading pro bono programme with all lawyers expected to perform at least 50 hours per year across the world. In London, lawyers perform an average of 57 hours per year supporting NGOs, charities and social enterprises with expert legal advice. Clients include Stonewall, Oxfam, Macmillan, Refuge, SANE and the Royal London Society for Blind People. In addition, the London office works with Battersea Law Centre, Mary Ward Legal Centre, the Bar pro Bono Unit and the RCJ Advice Bureau.
Trainee profile

Entry requirements are AAB at A Level or (or equivalent), excluding General Studies, and a 2.1 at degree level.
Training environment

Working in close knit partner-led teams provides much greater responsibility and early exposure to the Firm’s global network of clients and contacts.
Benefits
Weil’s starting salary is £46,000 increasing to £50,000 in the final year of the Training Contract. Weil’s NQ salary is currently £100,000.
Private health cover; permanent health insurance; life assurance; pension (the firm will contribute to the Group Personal Pension Plan at the rate of 5% of basic salary); birthday holiday; health screening; 23 days’ holiday, with holiday entitlement increasing by one year after each year of service, up to 28 days; £500 annual wellbeing allowance; two annual volunteering days; and an annual eye test with £50 towards glasses.

GDL and LPC funding plus maintenance allowances of £8,000 per annum.
