Our client, a highly regarded private healthcare organisation based in Central London, are currently seeking a commercial contracts lawyer to join the team on a part time basis and to provide legal support to the business.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate to join a highly skilled team and further develop their career.
Responsibilities include:
- Handle a wide range of commercial contracts from drafting through to negotiation and finalization. Minimise risk and manage any disputes that arise as a result of breach of contract.
- Advise management of contractual rights and obligations, provide clarification of contract terms and conditions
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships within the organisation to ensure that advice is consistently sought by internal clients when needed. Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as suppliers and industry regulators
- Assist with the development and delivery of training modules regarding legal issues. Advise the business with regards to changes in legislation that affect the company, its clients and industries.
- Provide other ad hoc legal advice as required.
Candidate requirements:
- Be a UK qualified lawyer at least 3PQE
- Have gained in-house experience, either via secondments or working in a permanent in-house role
- Solid experience of managing complex commercial contracts
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external client relationships
- Ability to prioritise and work to challenging deadlines.
